We wanted to inform you of our upcoming 2012 Summer Camps throughout Eastern Ontario. Bilingual instructors are available at every camp. If you are not registered yet and to avoid disappointment, register today to secure your spot as some programs are starting to sell out.

Summer Camps

Gold in the Net goes the extra mile to improve ALL the vital goaltending skills necessary for our students to excel to the next level. Experience our commitment to developing our goaltenders skills!

Every Gold in the Net Summer camp program includes the following:

A minimum of 15 hours of on ice training each week
Puck shooting machine along with quality shooters
Power skating program created for goalies and incorporated daily
Each student take home a personal DVD of their performance
Unparalleled dryland training program created for goalies and incorporated daily
Gold in the Net goalie cut jersey

Achievement Awards

Die Hard Award (given to hardest working goalie who best examplifies the ideal GITN student)
Shootout Award
3 Year Achievement Award

Payment Options

Full payment with registration
50% deposit with registration and balance due on June 1
Equal Monthly Payment Plan (up to 6 equal payments)

All registrations must be paid in full by June 1

Gold in the Net travels extensively throughout the season and observes hockey development world-wide. Proven Program: Gold in the net trains more goalies world-wide than anyone! Gold in the Net NHL alumni consists of Perry Elderbroom, Henrik Lundqvist, Antero Niittymaki, Fredrik Norrena, David LeNeveu, Kari Lehtonen, and Kari Ramo.
Always Current: Gold in the Net works all year round world-wide developing goalies, so it is constantly updating and introducing new and innovative ideas and concepts to the program. It’s not a job for us. It’s our lives!
7 Levels of Programming: More programs than anyone, with more choices to make sure that you find the right program suited for you or your child.
Certified Staff: All staff members are trained and certified each and every year to ensure all new training methods are properly implemented. Last year, Gold in the Net certified over 135 staff members world-wide. Bilingual staff available for most weeks.
Take Home DVD: At the end of the camp, each goaltender will receive a personalized mini DVD of their week. This will contain comments and analysis of their performance by one of the instructors.
Scholarship: Gold in the Net has awarded more than $20,000 in Bursaries to Students and Staff to help promote education through hockey.

Nathan Peters wins Leo Boivin’s 40th Midget AAA Hockey Showcase!

GITN congratulates Nathan Peters and the Upper Canada Major Midget AAA Cyclones for winning the Leo Boivin’s 40th Midget AAA Hockey Showcase. Nathan was flawless by posting the shutout in the 2-0 win over Latvia Bauer Selects ( considered one of the best in Europe) in the final game and was named the game’s first star as well as the goalie for the tournament All-Star team. The Cyclones were the first local team to win the tournament in its 40-year history. Way to finish your minor hockey career Nathan and keep up the great work!

Congratulations to Gold in the Net – Ontario goalie, Ethan Taylor for being selected as the Tom and Janice Flemming Award as the Outstanding Player of the Year for the Quinte Red Devils AAA association in the Atom/Peewee division!!!! Congrats Ethan for your accomplishment!
